I bought this wonderful book from Brazil, to gift my dad, who's a racehorses breeder and a enthusiast of this sport. Whereas the gift packaging unfortunately came ripped (I've paid for it!!!), I read the book before giving it to him. Result the reading has extended throughout the night!
The book is divided into sections, decade by decade, each containing a proper analysis (a dozen pages) about the great champions of that decade and its spectacular achievements, some pictures (only a few, by the way), followed by the list of champions and the complete prognostic of each one of those champions.
For those who grew up listening to and reading stories of past legends (and often misses parameters to compare the importance and relevance of some horses of anciet times), this book can give a good idea of the extent of the achievements of the legends, and their importance in every age.
My only expectation that has not been supplemented by the book - and that would make him really comprehensive -, is related to the lack of genetic / hereditary data and analyzes. And in the technology era, I would suggest to publishers to launch an e-book version, with links to videos of spectacular races mentioned in the book.
